Day Of Mourning Article - Sault Star

Michele McCleave-Kennedy, president of Sault Ste. Marie and District Labour Council, holds a candle during National Day of Mourning at Civic Centre on Tuesday. In 2019, 190 workers died on the job in Ontario and another 257,000 were injured. McCleave-Kennedy is hopeful labour will be part of post-COVID-19 talks about what can be done differently during the next major public health crisis.
