First International Women's March coming to Sault.
Sault Ste Marie and District Labour Council invites the public to join them for Sault Ste Marie's 1st Women's March.
Women from across the globe are mobilizing on Jan. 19 /19 to defend our rights and democracy. People will gather in cities across the world to speak up for social and economic justice. We invite the public to Walk in Solidarity with members of our community to end violence against women and bring equity and inclusion to all. We walk for worker's rights, civil rights, disability rights, Indigenous people's rights, LGBTQIA rights, immigrant rights, and environmental justice. Be part of SSM voice! The rally will proceed along the Northside of Queen St. to Bruce St. cross to the Southside of Queen St. walk to Elgin St., south on Elgin St. to Bay St. cross to the east side of Elgin St. and walk North returning to the Court House.
